Words, Words, Words ~ HAMLET [a variation]

But words are things, and a small drop of ink,

Falling like dew, upon a thought, produces

That which makes thousands, perhaps millions, think;

'Tis strange, the shortest letter which man uses

Instead of speech, may form a lasting link

Of ages; to what straits old Time reduces

Frail man, when paper - even a rag like this -
Survives himself, his tomb, and all that's his.

from Don Juan by Lord Byron

Words do live on eternally, don't they.    Especially now in this age of the internet.    We all need to be very cognizant of what we put out there.   You never know who's got a cell phone that can video tape you.  Just ask Michael Richards or Mel Gibson...

In some ways, it's a good thing.    Hatefulness is exposed more quickly--and people pay the consequences.
